Freezers Staying Too Warm
This is probably the most common issue experienced with freezers. This issue is caused by two main problems. The first potential cause of freezers that don’t get cold enough are issues with the freezer evaporator fan. If you can’t feel any air blowing out from your freezer vents, or don’t hear the freezer fan running, the evaporator fan probably requires repair. If the evaporator fan is running, the issue is likely caused by compressor issues. Often, cleaning the compressor is all that you need to get the freezer to run cool again.
Loud Refrigerator
This issue is usually caused by friedges cycling too regularly while attempting to keep the food inside it cold. This annoying and loud noise actually indicates that the fridge is wastefully using energy. If this is occurring with your fridge, check its temperature. Even just slightly raising the fridge temperature can fix the problem, as the fridge won’t have to work nearly as hard to keep the food inside it cold and fresh.
Fridge Leaking Water on the Floor
This issue is usually an indicator that your fridge’s drainage system is malfunctioning. Try going into your defrost drain to find whatever problem are clogging it up – and if you find anything, see if removing it fixes the leaking problem. If this doesn’t work, or you don’t find any clogs, the issue might be a leak or clog within your water supply valve.
